Report (Matrix) to: Alternative Distribution Channel Head

Position Objectives & Summary:


Responsible for setting up and implement the overall bank assurance operation, to achieve short and long term sales & marketing objectives.

Responsible for exploring new marketing opportunity and identify new market defined within sales responsibilities and territories.

Responsible for sales representative recruiting, training, development, daily activity management, performance evaluation, validation, motivation and award.

Responsible for monitoring and revising the departmental work flow, operation procedure, standard and requirement to meet company objectives.

Responsible for department development, planning, budgeting, and administration.
Position Accountabilities (duties & Responsibilities):


Assist ADC head to set up and implement the S&M strategy and business plan to achieve objectives.

Work with H/R to recruit and develop required sales capabilities.

Work with Agency Support, ADC Business Development and Operation department to develop the needed professionalism and expertise to achieve objective.

Work with Corporate Communication/Marketing department to create needed selling support materials, branding & campaign activities to achieve objectives.

Work with Actuarial Department for Product Development and profitability analysis.

Design and implement the daily activity management and operation practices

Periodical review and revise strategy, operation plan, standard and programs.
Incumbent Requirement:


University degree and above with 10 years plus outstanding S&M track record in retail banking, security firm, Life Insurance and consumer product.

Strong in new market development and non traditional S&M practices

Excellent planning and execution capability to achieve given objectives.

Team work and task oriented personality with creative and passion and able to work under pressure.

Fluent reading and writing skills in English is a must.

Position Objectives & Summary:


The incumbent is responsible and oversees the ethics and compliance programs, internal controls, compliance measures and activities of company.

Works as part of the business team to develop and monitor documented procedures and internal controls necessary to ensure high standards of ethical conduct as well as compliance with all applicable laws and regulation.
Position Accountabilities (Duties & Responsibilities):


Direct and provide general oversight for the ethics and compliance programs, including policies and procedures, controls, training, communications and corrective action relating to all insurance and securities laws and regulations as well as other applicable laws and regulations including anti-trust, money laundering, bribery, privacy, and employment law. Most importantly, this includes working with senior management to establish a corporate culture based on integrity and customer trust. More specifically, this includes working with management to ensure such things as the following:

That the hiring process includes an appropriate focus on the honesty and integrity of new hires;

That proper compliance training takes place in all areas of the company, with a special focus on the distribution arm;

That sales material is in compliance with all laws, regulations and company policies;

That sales meet company requirements for suitability and are properly documented;

That customer complaints are properly handled and are reviewed to identify significant compliance issues and that such issues are properly addressed/corrected;

That customer contracts are issued and administered in a timely fashion and in accordance with all laws, regulations and company policies;

That appropriate processes and controls are in place to monitor compliance with laws, regulations and company policies;

That changes in laws or regulations are appropriately reflected in changes to policies and procedures and properly communicated to personnel;

That appropriate discipline takes place and is properly documented for infractions of laws, regulations and company policies.

2. Develop and maintain strong compliance risk management programs, including identifying significant compliance risks,   evaluating the management of those risks and developing action plans to enhance controls where appropriate.
3. Develop and implement compliance related metrics and management reporting.
4. Work with International Compliance to identify and adopt compliance best practices, ensure that MetLife standards are met in all areas and report significant compliance issues.
5. Record keeping, compiling statistics, monitoring standards
6. Other ad hoc projects.
7. Manage and Coach the subordinate to achieve working objectives.

 

Incumbent Requirements


University degree and have at least 8 years relevant post-graduate experience.

At least 4 years experience in life insurance company with thorough knowledge in life insurance operations.

In-depth Knowledge of compliance programs and controls

Exceptional analytical skills and problem solving ability

Strong written and spoken English and Chinese.

Exceptional interpersonal skills, good team player

Ability to influence others beyond direct control.
